Because this book does not necessarily contain chapters, I asked you to read the first five sections. Each side of Hannah's tapes would be considered a chapter. For this assignment we will only be dealing with pages 1-68. These pages take us through cassette 2 side A. Please make sure you do not include any information beyond these pages...we don't want to ruin the book for those who have not read beyond these pages.
We know that Hannah has committed suicide and has left behind recordings of her reasons for taking her own life. The recordings give the reason why she made this choice. These are the questions you must answer:
1. Hannah's reasons are people in her life and the choices they made. These choices have had an impact on Hannah's life in one way or another, which became the reasons for Hannah's death. What were Hannah's rules for the cassettes? What happens if a person on the list does not pass on the cassettes?
2. Who is the first reason?
3. What did this person do to Hannah?
4. Do you think things would have been different if Kat had not moved away?
5. Who is the second reason?
6. What did this person do to Hannah?
7. Who is reason three?
8. What did this person do to Hannah?
9. What do reason 2 and 3 have in common with Hannah?
10. Tell me what you think of the book so far. We will discuss a few of the tougher parts in class, but this is just a chance for you to right down your own thoughts and feelings.
1.The first rule is that you are suppose to listen. The second rule is that you are suppose to pass it on to the person that follows you.The copies will be released in a very public manner if the person doesn't follow the rules.

3. Justin and Hannah were dating and after their first kiss in the park he started bragging and then there were rumors about their first kiss and he was spreading them. So she said that the month or so that htey were dating was great. But she wishes that there was going to be more memories. She said the rumor about the kiss started a reputation that she wish hadn't of happened.
4.Yes, because when they met at the party and started having their multi word conversations. I don't think they would have even started doing some stuff like calling each other, bumping into each other in the hall, and other stuff like that if they would not of gone to the party.

6. He called her best ass in the Freshman class. He started a list in class called whos hot/ whos not. In a store called Blue spot liquor she was getting some candy and he walked in and then grabbed her butt and said this is the Best ass in the freshman class to Wally the cashier. She got mad and instead of apologizing he started to get offensive and he told her to relax and started rubbing her shoulder. she got mad at that too because once a girl gets mad at you leave them alone.
7. Jessica Davis
8. Jessica got mad at Hannah because she thought the list that Alex made up was part of the reason that her and alex broke- up. She started a realtionship with him when they were Monet's when they first went there. She got mad at Hannah because she thought she was breaking them up when the list came out. She got mad at her and said they needed to talk and that she was mad at her she went to Monet's to talk and Jessica took a swing at Hannah and she left a scar on Hannah's forehead that is still there. Hannh took all of the blame and said she was sorry.
9.Two and three all were new kids at the begginig of the school year and that is why they started going to Monet's together. They all met at a new kid orientation that was actually put on to get all the new kids togther and to get them to be friends.
10. I really like this book and I get into it and all of a sudden I will be on pg 68 then I will look down 20 minutes later and I'm on pg 118. I really like this book and I can't wait to see what happens.
1. Rule number one is you listen. Number two is you pass it on. She made a copy of the tapes and they will be released in a very public manner if the package doesn't make it through all of them.

8. She was thinking about the rumors about her are true and she believes them and is thinking of her as a bad person.
9. They both kind of betrayed her. And they used to be friends with each other.
10. I think the book is really good and she has some pretty valid reasons so far.

10. I like this book. It isn't something that I would usually read, but I really like it.
1. Hannah only has two rules; one rule is that you listen, the second rule is that you pass on the tapes to the next person on the list. If a person doesn't pass on the tapes, she says that another copy will be sent out to the public, and every one will hear them.

3. This person was Hannah's first kiss. He was a major jerk, because once he kissed he, he turned around and started rumors about things like up the shirt experiences, and other things that were very unneccessary.
4. I think things would have changed a little, because Hannah would have had a friend to get her through this time.

6.This person caused Hannah to lose her friend. He did this because he had dated her friend, adn then they broke up. So he decided to make a list of Who's Hot/Who's Not. He put Hannah on the good side, and he friend on the other side. When he did this, it made her friend jelous, and then Hannah lost her other only friend.

8. Jessica was one of Hannah's friends, adn when alex put them on the Who's Hot/Who's Not list, it made her jelous, and on that daky she broke up with Hannah, and physically hurt her as well.
ReplyDelete9. Reasons two and three were kind-of teh same thing. they were both Hannah's friends adn when they broke up, they hyrt her in one way ot another.
10. I think this is a very good book. It is hard to put it down when you pick it up to start reading it. It is a little different than wht I usually read, but surprisinly, I quite enjoy it.
